We are seeking an experienced Director of Radiology. Must be ARRT certified with Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business or Healthcare required. Graduate degree preferred. Administration or other related field or comparable experience required. MUST have experience as a Director from a hospital (400 beds+). MUST have 5+ years of experience as a Radiology Director. Will be responsible for directing the administrative and technical services of the Radiology Department which includes Angiography, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
Broad Clinical and Managerial experience in a hospital equivalent to our size as Director or Admin Director of Radiology. Admin Director is preferred.
Bachelors in finance, healthcare or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Broad experiences with Radiology specialty areas, direct physician interaction/relationship building.
Must have 5 years as Director experience at major medical system, comparable to our size.
The experience must be current; a candidate with historical experience will probably not be given consideration.
Broad administrative expertise (budgets, interaction with physicians, strategic planning) and the day to day operational to touch.
Administrative Director of Radiology must also have following:
-Exceptional interpersonal skills
-Track record with supportive physician interactions and partnerships
-A concern for patient satisfaction
-Strong management skills to oversee Radiology Services in multiple locations near and around Raleigh.
-Possesses a strong clinical and strategic background
-Results orientation
