We are seeking and experienced Histotechnologist. Position is Mon-Fri 9am to 5:30pm. Must have successfully met ONE of the requirements listed below:
A.Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histology program or Histology training program from clinical histology lab with five (5) years experience in histology.
B.HT (ASCP) Associate degree or equivalent from accredited college/university with one year full time acceptable experience in histology

Histology Technician II follows established histology procedures & policies. You will be responsible for accessioning specimens and assisting Pathologists during gross examination. Prepare microscopic slides of formalin fixed and frozen tissue for diagnostic evaluation and perform routine and special stains. Under the supervision of the pathology supervisor, performs all technical histology laboratorys functions which are included but not limited to accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, routine H&E staining, special stains, immunohistochemical stains, cytology technical functions as well as other duties in the area.
